Considered the most beautiful of all cockatoos, the Major Mitchell is known to the Pitjantjatjara people of Central Australia’s Western Desert region as kakalyalya.
Each whistle necklace is skilfully hand-shaped from clay, fired, then hand-painted by Songbird's team of creative artisans in Northern Thailand. Because of their handmade nature no two birds are the same, making them even more unique and characterful.
