Sleeves a little tight

I love my new Gaudy and Prim nightdress - it’s lovely cotton, pretty and a good fit almost everywhere. But the broderie anglaise ribbon around the elbow is either a little tight or my arm is a bit longer than average. Either way the sleeves get stuck on my elbows. I will need to have it altered.
